Scissors
Cut 8 red and 8 green paper strips. 2" wide and 24" long.
Cut the black construction paper as shown in picture below, making sure not
to cut to the edges.
Weave alternate color strips through the black base until it is full.
You can use laminate to preserve the placemat.
