for establishment of the Attorney General's Child Support Division and

that prosecuted nonpayors and collected $1.53 million.
New York City Council Speaker A. Gifford Miller, Councilwoman Tracy Boyland and Councilman Eric N. Gioia
for legislation to regulate predatory collection practices of private child support collection agencies.

heriff James Telb, Lucas County, Ohio
for establishment of a Child Support Unit and promotion of statewide round ups (23 counties in 2003) of parents who fail to meet legal child support obligations. Hundreds have been arrested due to action by this unit.

heriff Edward Reilly, Nassau County, NY
for the establishment and success of the SLAP Unit. The SLAP unit investigates non-payors to determine if assets are available to pay child support and refers case to US Attorney for federal prosecution.
