Morgan Carter is a wealthy and gorgeous teenage actress. But when Morgan starts dabbling into the cosmopolitan Hollywood life of drugs and drinking, she lands herself in a life-threatening position and is shipped off to rehab when her mother finds out about her dangerous ways. After her long stay, Morgan's mom then decides to send her daughter to live with family friends in a boring, Middle American town to live as a normal teenager for a year. Morgan, who is distraught over the decision, gets a "make-under" and changes her name to "Claudia Miller". After living life out of the spotlight, everything seems to be settling into place. She starts making friends, and also finds an interest in a local boy. But things start going downward again- her grades are dropping, she's been ditching school, and there have been suspicious reporters lingering in the quiet city. Has someone found this undercover superstars hiding place?

The It Girl by Cecily von Ziegesar:
Jenny Humphrey, the youngest character in the Gossip Girl Series, is back again! After being kicked out of her all-girls prep school Constance-Billard for being a bad influence on the other girls, Jenny snatches up the opportunity to attend the boarding school Waverly Academy in upstate New York. When Jenny gets there, she is ecstatic to learn that her two roommates are the big names on campus: Brett, a fiery redhead who falls for a young teacher, and Callie a wild blonde with a popular boyfriend. Too bad Callie and Brett don't speak to each other- the two girls are too wary because of a spectacle that happened last year which got their other best friend and roommate, Tinsley, kicked out of school. But when Callie hatches a devious plan that may get naïve Jenny in trouble, the plot thickens when Jenny starts falling for Callie's on and off again boyfriend. Watch out for The It Girl #2: Notorious, out soon!

The Dating Game by Natalie Standiford:
Best friends Madison, Holly, and Lina become very popular at school when they start their own Web site, giving romantic advice and playing matchmaker to fellow students as a result of a popular school project. Meanwhile, mature Holly is dealing with rumors from ex-boyfriends, exotic Lina is trying to get recently graduated teacher to treat her as something more, and gawky Madison is trying her to get her crush to notice her by acting more mature-which backfires. The trio soon realizes that there are more fish in the sea, and they just need to keep looking. The book has an open ending to leave room for more match ups, more relationships, and more drama! Keep an eye out for the following books in the intriguing series!
