Reporting Child Support Deadbeats
Question:
One of my friends here in Chattanooga lives with a guy from California who boldly told me yesterday that he owes child support back there so he doesn't have a license. They don't know where he is and I'd guess he owes quite a few thousand or his license wouldn't have been pulled. He's a verbally abusive man from what I've seen. I'm hesitant to report him because I'm afraid.
- Roxey
Answer: You can report the location of a deadbeat parent, it is easy and anonymous. Gather as much information as you can, such as; name, address, employer, state where the child support order was issued. Then call or mail the information to the appropriate state government child support agency. See list of state child support agencies .
