Rudolph Light Bulb
Materials needed:
1 old Christmas lightbulb ( not broken)
1 brown pipe cleaner
2 self-adhesive eyes
1 small red pompom or red piece of felt for the nose
piece of string or thin craft wire for hanging
glue
Directions :
1] Place the eyes somewhere on the glass near the top screw part.
You might have to play around until you think it looks right .
2] Fold the pipe cleaner in half and then place the lightbulb
screw-in part in the fold of the pipe cleaner. Wrap one end
clockwise and the other end counter clockwise around the top.
You should now have something that resembles a deer with antlers.
If they are too long just cut them down a bit but do the cutting after
you have bent them into shape ( make them look like a zigzag ).
3] Glue on a small pompom or round piece of red felt on the tip
of the bulb for the nose.
4] Tie some string on the top part and you are now ready to hang it up.
~NOTE~ There are many variations on this project. I have used this to
make Easter Bunnies, Cats, Dogs etc. This project is not limited ... it is
only limited by your imagination :)
To make the Easter Bunny Bulb .... use a Pink pipe cleaner and make
an Oval shape with the wire instead of bending it into a zigzag shape.
You can use fishing line for the whiskers as it is a bit firmer and won't
'droop' down when you hang it.
