Santa Puppet

Materials needed :

2 red squares of felt ( body) 1 white square of felt
1 beige square of felt
1 black piece of felt
2 eyes
hot glue gun

Directions :

Print and cut out the patterns found here for the Santa puppet.

Place the body of the Santa on the red felt and carefully cut around the edges. It might be helpful if you pin the pattern to the felt in a few pl to stop it from moving when you are cutting.

Using the hot glue gun carefully run a thin line of glue around the edges making sure you DO NOT put glue on the bottom edge (that is where your hand goes). Press with your hand firmly on all the glued edges to seal it. Place your hand in the puppet carefully and make sure that all edges are sealed, if you missed a spot place a small bead of glue on that area and press down to seal it.

Cut out the remaining pieces of the pattern and arrange them on the Santa. Place all the pieces where you think they look good, then start gluing them down.

You should now have something that looks like a Santa.

The last step is to add the finishing touches. Add the eyes ,nose, mouth, front of his jacket ( the white strip with 'buttons') and a belt buckle and you are finished.
