Mia’s Playground is a free app that is available for iPhones. It is appropriate for children aged two through five and is essentially a tool that tests your child’s memory. Fun illustrations are included and utilize shapes and colors that can help kids to better memorize things. They can choose items based on their shape or color and find items based on similarities and differences. The app is available in English, French, Chinese and Japanese.

Kids Numbers and Math Lite is a free app that is available for Android mobile phones. It can keep your child entertained for hours on end while also educating them. It is made to appear like a fun game but teaches them basic math skills. Some of the features included are addition, subtraction, finding matches, choosing maximum or minimum bumpers and advanced exercises. It will keep your child relaxed and engaged as they learn and improve their math skills.

Phone for Kids

Thisis an all-in-one activity center for children. It’s in HD and boasts the largest collection of fun and educational exercises within the single app. There are 30 games your child can play that can teach them about numbers, colors, animals, directions, letters, days of the week and drawing. It is appropriate for children ages four and older. 

Kid Mode

This is a free app that is appropriate for kids ages eight and younger. It is a collection of fun games and videos that can educate, while at the same time keeping all apps for your child in one safe location. There is a child lock feature that protects your phone and apps you don’t want your kids to have access to that is similar to Windows Phone 8’s Kids Corner feature.

Kid Cards

Kid Cards is a free app for Windows Phone that is a flash card game for kids. There are different categories of flash cards, although this app allows your child to create their own categories and specific flash cards. Your child can enjoy playing games with this app by attempting to memorize cards, mix and match and choose a card that has a photo that starts with a specific letter.
