Fashion Shocks: Those Little Things
By Marisha Kelly
Summer may have taken a break but just because fall is in, it doesn't mean you still can't look hot!
This season, try making a big impression with minimal effort. Kick it up a notch with the small stuff that will give others' eyes some jaw-dropping effects. So, what if you're in jeans, a t-shirt, and that oh-so-comfy hoodie? You need not have to sacrifice fashion for comfort. The key is to accessorize- accentuating those essential nothings in vivid portions. After all, it is the little things that count.
For an edgy look, pour on the glitz and glam with some sparkling kicks for your feet or a sequined scarf to wrap in on the heat. They'll be the main focal point to your outfit and one people cannot possibly miss. Just be sure to put a handle on a star-studded hobo bag.
Care for a softer look? Doll up with strands of multi-colored pearls or beads, and step into a pair of pretty-in-pink ballet flats. Lock in on the sweet air of innocence with a quilted handbag to carry the lot of your necessities.
Still, don't be afraid to raid granny's closet because chunky knits are making a comeback. Get noticed with a nubby knit hat to top off your look or wrap in on a crochet belt to seal the deal on your denim blues. Who said your knits had to come in a sweater? Sling a knitted bag over your shoulder to carry you through the rest of the season.
