In these tough economic times, it's just not feasible to buy a new wardrobe. But it doesn't mean you can't start the year off with style! Give your 2008 clothes a 2009 spin without spending. Recession proof your wardrobe with accessories.
Instead of buying expensive items you'll toss come springtime (like heavy sweaters), wear last years. Unless it doesn't fit or is in very bad condition, save your money and suffice to buying only functional accessories. Although wintertime is usually about a darker palette, pastels have made a surprising appearance. So why not winterize your favorite spring and summer dresses?
