Blend cream cheese, pecans and strawberries. Cut a horizontal pocket into top crust of each slice of bread. Spoon 2 Tbsp. cream cheese mixture into each pocket. Whisk together eggs, milk, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla. Dip stuffed bread slices into milk mixture, coating all sides. Melt butter in non-stick fry pan over medium/high heat and place stuffed bread slices by batches, approximately 2 minutes per side, just until golden brown. Serve immediately, topped with Grand Marnier sauce. The sauce is rich, so a little bit goes a long way.

Grand Marnier Sauce

½ c. butter, cut into pieces
¾ c. orange juice
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tsp. fresh grated orange rind
½ c. Grand Marnier

Directions

In small saucepan, heat o.j., sugar and orange rind on low heat…stirring often. Bring to boil to let thicken. Whisk pieces of butter in one at a time until mixture thickens and is blended completely. Remove from heat and add grand marnier. Spoon over French toast.
