Oreo Cookie Trifle

If you love chocolate and anything creamy, it's kind of hard to go wrong with this dessert. It's fast, simple and completely yummy.

Ingredients

1 package Oreo Cookies (crushed into crumbs, reserve 6 whole cookies)
1 stick butter (melted)
1 package any brownie mix (baked and then crumbled)
1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
2- 8 oz. containers whipped topping
1 cup confectioners sugar
2- 5.9 oz. packages Instant chocolate pudding (prepared according to box directions)
oreo cookie dessert

Directions

Combine crushed oreo cookies and butter, mix well. Place a third of the crushed oreo mixture in bottom of large glass serving bowl, pat into a smooth layer. With hand mixer or food processor, combine 1- 8 oz. pkg. of whipped topping, the cream cheese and the confectioners sugar. Mix until smooth. Place half of the cream cheese mixture on top of the oreo layer and lightly smooth. Place half of the crumbled brownie as the next layer. Smooth the half of the chocolate pudding over the brownie as the next layer. Repeat layers, starting with the oreo cookies again, reserving a third of them to sprinkle on top of the dessert. Place the 2nd container of whipped topping as the final top layer, and sprinkle the remaining crushed oreos on top. Stick the whole oreos around the edge of the dessert for decoration. Chill until ready to serve(best chilled for several hours).

If you want to mix it up a bit, you can add whatever you like. A layer of cherries (pitted of course), a layer of nuts or coconut, a different flavor of pudding. Be creative!
