Cocktail or Dessert: Buttering up the Nutty Russian
Sometimes, a nice refreshing cocktail is the thing we need to unwind after a long day. I'm known for making up many of my own drinks (some may be a little strange), but this one is one of my favorites. I guess you could call it "Buttering up the Nutty Russian". (This is in no way meant to be politically incorrect, and is only in reference to the liquors involved) Disclaimer: I did not check to see if this drink could possibly already be in the bartenders handbook, and if someone thought it up before me, well great job and it's all yours!
 Ingredients
2 shots Stolichnaya Vanilla Vodka
1 shot Butterscotch Schnapps
1 shot Frangelico Hazlenut liquor
1-2 tsp. storebought butterscotch syrup or ice cream topping
2 Tbsp.. very finely (powder consistency) crushed hazlenuts
Directions
This makes one serving, double or triple the recipe....to make more. Place alcohols in shaker with ice. Chill martini glass and line inside of glass and rim lightly with butterscotch syrup, place crushed hazlenuts on a plate and quickly dip the rim into nuts to coat all the way around. Pour drink and serve.
This drink can also be used as a dessert.
