Estrogen deficiency, adrenal fatigue, sluggish thyroid, endometriosis, low testosterone, fibroids and cysts…  the list goes on.  Do you suffer with one or more of these conditions?

Even with all the modern day medical technology, it seems like people are getting sicker – younger and younger.  What’s up with that?   These are not just old people diseases anymore – 30 something’s are starting to feel the effects of ill health and they are being told by some doctors that they “are just getting old.”

Really?   Since when is 30 old?

Has our standard for health dropped so low that we are just accepting ill health and disease at a young age?  Look at Jack LaLane.  Now he was “old” when he died in his 90’s.  And up until he did pass, he lived and worked a vibrant life.  (He was one of the first to have an exercise gurus on TV in the 1960s.)

We all should have the same standard as Jack.  Why are we accepting disease as inevitable just because we are an adult?

Natural medicine and specifically Oriental Medicine (an ancient medical system that dates back thousands of years) does not accept any disease as inevitable just because you reach a certain age.  So instead of being reactive to disease, being proactive in pursuing optimal health and wellness should be the standard.  Unfortunately we are not taught this – and many do not come to this realization until they are already suffering with some type of symptom or disease.

Everything we do, every single day either creates health or disease.  What have you done today to create health in your body?

Studies show you can increase life expectancy by 40% by exercising.  Using food to create health is another part of the equation.  Then there is emotional health and spiritual health.  You know, body – mind – spirit.  It’s not rocket science – but it isn’t easy.
