Heart Crown
Construction paper
Tape
Felts, Crayons, or Colored pencils
Colored Pipe Cleaners
Glue
Measure your childs head.
Cut a strip of paper 2 inhes bigger than the
measurement to allow for over lap. Your child can decorate the crown with felts
or crayons.
Wrap the strip of paper around your childs head
and tape together, making sure the overlap is on the inside.
While the crown is on your childs head, mark
both sides of the crown with a pencil where the ears are, this is placement for
the wiggly hearts.
Take the crown off your childs head. Using the
marks on the side, place a pipe cleaner on the mark you made in the above step.
Bend the stem so that it neatly hooks
under the bottom of the crown and meets just above the top of the crown (enough
to wrap around the stem to hold in place).
On the tips of the pipe cleaners, attach a
heart. I used a low temp glue gun to attach them. Repeat for the other side.
On the side of the crown, cover up the wire on
the outside by placing a heart over each one.
Let the
glue dry fully before letting your child wear the crown.
As the child plays the antenna will wiggle and
jiggle.
