Cabin Fever

Those of us in the Northeast part of the country know this feeling quite well. It comes from months of snow, cold and wishing for Spring to arrive so we can experience life once again. This year however, we are confused. We have experienced Spring in the midst of Winter. Spending a week in Spring type weather, only to wake up the next day for 20 degree weather and snow.

This confusion of weather is similar to how our minds work at times, how we feel and how we act. While we like to feel that we are in control of things around us, we go through periods of time when we are no more settled than the weather. Just as the weathermen are not completely capable of telling us what to expect, we are also unaware of the changes that will come in our own lives.

People say the best way to predict the weather is too look at side, there is no lying or guessing then. You see it with your own eyes and you can believe what you see. Why not do the same with our own lives. We see what is happening, we know what we want or would like to be - we just have to believe what we see in ourselves, not what we think others see in us, not what we predict will happen, but what truly is.
