2009 NCAA March Madness Basketball
March Madness the NCAA College Men's Basketball Tournament 2009 Schedule
It is that time of the year again when March Madness takes over. Many people consider the Tournament bigger than the Super Bowl. Key dates include: Selection Sunday on March 16 - Round One: March 21st, Second Round: March 23rd, Sweet Sixteen: March 27nd and 29th, Elite eight: March 28th and 30th, Final Four: April 5th and April 7, anf then the Championship Game. To many sports fans this is a marathon of love.
College basketball is all-inclusive with smaller conferences sharing the same stage as the powerhouse conferences. Forty teams will slug it out for a single champion. With notable stops along the way: The Sweet 16, The Elite 8, and The Final Four. This year the polls ranking of #1 has been a curse and changed over 5 times. With so many strong teams in this year's tournament it could even be more exciting than in past years.
Many Tournament fans will consider March 16th an official half-day from work. March Madness begins with multiple games simultaneously at eight different venues. One thing is for sure; most of the games will come down to the final seconds. So, grab a seat and enjoy!

Family Fun with NCAA Brackets
While many people will see, brackets go around the office for some fun betting. You can do this at home. If you have a sports fan in the house, it will be hard to get the remote in March. Picking who will go all the way can be fun for people who do not normally follow college basketball. Offer a prize to the winner or bragging rights around the house.
Another alternate to picking the teams is to simply pick a color (excluding white) of who will win the tournament. See how many wins you color was able to pick up. This may take someone in the house that knows the team colors.
This should be fun for the whole family regardless of age and knowledge of the teams playing.
