Life in these Times

Life in these times is too valuable--or-- not valuable enough--or-- too complicated for a mere human alone, so the government must decide? From almost every TV, and radio one hears the “pro-life” theme of, life, no matter what, and if you don’t agree with me, we will kill you. Pro-life activists have been arrested for threats against the judge in the Shiavo case, have purportedly put “out a contract” on Terri Shiavo’s husband and numerous bomb threat have been reported at the hospice. Most of these Christian right zealots who demand life, no matter what, do so at the same time they demand the death penalty be imposed against criminals. Behavior which is not very pro- life! The pro-life cult's blatant hypocrisy seems to go unnoticed by there followers. They want the power to force you to live a life of pain, humiliation and degradation, all in the name of life.

The pro life movement reeks of hypocrisy. That’s why most people believe individuals have the right to choose death with dignity. It is not a government decision, it is an individual decision. The cult of life, with it’s motto of life, no matter what, is trying to control everyone by using religion to cloak there true intentions. They will fail if we stand up and say we truly value life, it means more to us than just existing, And oh yes by filling out our living wills.
