Watch out for Ringtone addon fees. Make sure you are not signing up for a monthly addon fee or for additional items such as wallpapers or posters.
Also, some free ringtone websites offer graphics which are inappropriate for children.

Marketing of cell phones to children has become common place. "Everbody has one," rings throughout most households. Cell phones provide children, especially teens a way to quickly contact their family members and friends. But with this new technology and benefits come some problems, such as, large cell phone bills for going over the allotted minutes. This problem can now be solved by using a pay as you go cell phone. Instant access to friends means instant change of plans and makes it more difficult to keep track of where your teens are going and with whom. However, this problem my soon be solved, new technology is on the way, family phones will soon come equipped with GPS tracking so parents can make sure kids are where they are suppose to be and it should be very beneficial in finding missing children.
