New Year Resolutions in 2008 - For Students!

Everyone likes starting off the new year right. It's back to school after a break and it's time to get back into the swing of learning and succeeding. Had a great beginning to the year? Keep it up! Had some trouble getting back into school this year? Get a new start with the new year! Choose and use some of these resolution ideas to make the rest of this year a success:
Thou shall clean out they backpack regularly
Thou shall remove all old papers from thy folders
Thou shall replace disintegrated book covers
Thou shall complete homework on time
Thou shall begin new projects when they are assigned
Thou shall take responsibility for thy learning
Thou shall listen in class
Thou shall wash thy gym sneakers regularly
Thou shall work on writing all assignments neatly
Thou shall be a role model for other students
Thou shall give thy parents all necessary papers each night
Thou shall organize thy notes for class
Thou shall study for tests in advance
Thou shall keep thy desk (or locker) clean of papers, food, or other junk
Thou shall keep video games for after homework
Thou shall not listen to music while studying
Thou shall make one new friend
Thou shall eat a healthy breakfast every day
Thou shall get thy clothes and backpack ready the night before school
Thou shall wake up 10 minutes earlier in the morning
Thou shall follow directions given in class
Thou shall practice thy math facts
Thou shall do thy best work each day
Thou shall try a new game at recess
Thou shall share a new thing thy learned with thy parents every day
Thou shall ask questions when needed
Thou shall write down thy homework nightly
Thou shall bring healthy snacks to school
Thou shall leave electronic gizmos at home
Thou shall have good conduct on the bus
Thou shall volunteer to help a younger student to read
Thou shall do assigned reading on time
Thou shall find a favorite author
Thou shall create one work of art
Thou shall try to improve thy report card by one grade level in each subject
Thou shall use please and thank you in school
Thou shall be kind to other students
Thou shall play games which require no batteries
