There are always affordable summer camps! You could even learn a language while you are there, keep it educational and make new friends. I'm thinking about Articulate Language Camps next summer.

Why does everyone think that teens just LOVE arts and crafts? FYI we don't and cleaning our room is sooo fun (note the sarcasim). Also, how is excersizing fun? most teens think they get enough of excersize during the school year in P.E. Some of the things on this list are ok but arent that clever. Also, no teenages would want to learn new vocabulary for fun in the summer. Some of these activities cannot keep you occupied for a very long time, such as making smoothies. But some things were helpful.

First of all,I'm a teenager. Summer just started and I'm already bored. I read this article and it was a complete waste of my time. The main thing that's wrong about this article is that it suggests things that aren't very good "summer" activities. In fact, I see this better as a "things to do in the winter" list. You should suggest more things about outdoor fun and hanging with friends, because that's what summer's all about, am I right?

My childhood wasn't really the most...I guess enriching, so I always want to look for ways to make it up.
I honestly don't think it's bad for a list, I'm always so busy that I don't have time to stop and appreciate some of the simple things in life.
Maybe some teens like to party it out or go off and drink, but I'm not that type of person.

this list is not for teenagers! its a fine list but teenagers will not find anything fun to do on it! you should change that list to fun things to do for nine year olds and pick more modern and edgy stuff for teenagers!! :-p

some of this stuff is pretty great, although i don't think most teens can fit in a "kiddie pool" :-D it must have taken a while to make this list and it could be helpful for babysitting little kids, not teens. Thanks anyways though ;-):-P B-) happy summer

this list is not good at all. and for those of you that think I am being mean to the person wrote this, you are ignorant. The person who said \"if you don\'t like the ideas don\'t leave a comment\" doesn\'t quite understand the point of a comment box. These comments are suppose to express ones opinion on the article and the relevance of it to them. I love this! This list is so wonderful because all this summer I've had nothing to do. I have no friends because I'm a loser, a big tattle-tale, love homework, never brush my teeth, fart every 5 minutes, and I actually like this s**t! there are SOME good things to do on here for teens in the summer but i have to agree with the fourth comment , most of those things on here you can do any time of the year some depending on were you live

i dont think that a teen would want to see
\"clean your room\" on a list of things for the summer reason 1 is because we get told that enough
and 2 is we shouldnt have to clean our rooms because we should be out having fun and not being so bored that we get our rooms dirty

also your list would probably do well if it was a list for bored teens
but not good for a summer list

any way i actually did enjoy reading it ,it reminded me of what i could do on the weekends of a chool year because schools almost here again
