Spring 2007 Fashions

When it is too cold for sandals but too warm for jackets there is only one reason --Spring Time! This season it is all about cool and crisp styles. The classics are back in style! To avoid a fashion "oops," check out this list to see what needs to be hanging in your closet this spring.

Rompers: I know what you are thinking - Aren't those what baby's wear? But fear not, my friends, this playful style is making a grown-up comeback! Spend a lazy day in a terrycloth one piece, or go shopping in a striped jumper. This fresh and laid-back look is a cute alternative to the standard sundress.

Girly Touches: Lace and ruffles and flowers, oh my! Delicate details add a feminine edge to anything from the everyday thermal top or a cocktail dress. But if you aren't into floral prints don't worry. Bright stripes and colorful prints are in style too!

Shorts: From Bermudas to thigh highs, shorts are great! Although they are always good for warmer weather, shorts with fun prints and untraditional fabrics are fun to wear and show off!

High waists: The incredibly unflattering belly baring look is now over! High-waisted bottoms are a very ladylike option that looks both charming and bold. Tuck a ruffled blouse into a pencil skirt, or pair a tee shirt with some high-waisted skinny jeans. Now go put your low riders back where they belong-in the back of the closet next to your circa 1999 Britney CD's!

Wide legged pants: Do you dare to be different? Its time to try some wide legged pants! Paired with a satin top or a tee shirt, you can dress these slacks up or down. But steer clear of pairing them with baggy tops. Two bigger pieces can overwhelm your frame. Oh, and don't retire those skinny jeans yet. They will remain popular throughout the year.
