Ideas for a Romantic Valentine’s Day
By Jenny Corteza –
I have fallen in love many times,.. Always with you: This in itself is good enough to bring a smile to your man’s face but it will do only on 364 days of the year. Valentine Day begs that you say it with a gift, special dinner or other activity .
Romantic Date Ideas
Dinner and dancing is always good but if your partner has a favorite activity what can say “I love you” more than arranging a special outing which includes a favorite activity. Some ideas are a sporting event, a romanitic movie favorite to watch together, a mini vacation at a hotel with a couple massage or a trip to a place you both love. See this list of 20 Romantic Dates.
Need childcare for that date, it’s a perfect time to ask grandma and grandpa or an anunt or uncle to help out. Often they are just waiting for a special occasion to celebrate with the kids. You can even give them some ideas for how to make the day special with the kids. See Kid Recipes for Valentine’s Day and Valentine’s Day Crafts and Activites for Children
Romantic Evening at Home
Put the kids to bed early and have a romanitc candlelight dinner for two. Serve your partner’s favorite foods and drinks, add a special dessert from a local bakery or make one, see Giant Rice Krispie Kiss and Main Meal Recipes.
Don’t Foget the Flowers and Love Poems
Certanily a dozen red roses for women is always appreciated. Men like flowers too even a single rose or a “hot” pepper plant might even bring a blush to his face. Love Poems are alway romantic! Some of our favorites are How Do I Love Thee? and Seasons for Love
Message in a Bottle
Author Nicholas Sparks” book Message in a Bottle and the movie adaptation starring Kevin Costner gave me the next idea for a Valentine’s gift. The story contains a very romantic letter that you can put in a decorated bottle and present as a gift at your candle light dinner. There is nothing to compare with your reading it together after the dinner.
