I’m still knee deep in the middle of remodeling. I ran into an unexpected
snag over the weekend that caused me to have to change directions.
Long, vertical blinds cover the sliding glass doors. These blinds came
original with the house. They were a pretty speckled blue color. Before I
painted the dining room in Evening Sun, those blinds were quite
attractive against the white walls. Not so much with the new color.
So I decided in order to save money as well as unleash my inner artist
that I would spray paint the blind slats. Valspar has a spray paint made
just for plastics, no primer needed. At less than $10 to re-do the blinds, I
figured it was a win-win situation.
I found a country burgundy color I loved that matched nicely with the new wall
color so I bought a couple of cans.
