Ideas to Celebrate National Frugal Fun Day October 7
Challenge your family members to each come up with one frugal fun thing to do to celebrate National Frugal Fun Day ( if you have big family you could be having frugal fun all month long). Consider giving a prize to the family member who comes up with the cheapest fun activity. Be sure to unplug to make the most of this family fun activity.
Here are some Frugal Fun ideas for family activities to get you started:
Since it’s Fall, rake the leaves into a big pile and have fun jumping into the leaf pile.
Head out to park and look for animal tracks.
Create our own obstacle course in your back yard, swing from a rope hanging from a tree, crawl through a little kids tunnel toy, create water hazard to jump over or run through….
Build something creative out of leftover wood and metal in your garage or storage shed.
Bake cookies or make a meal using only ingredients you have on hand.
Kid Fun Crafts using supplies on hand.
Watch home movies or look at picture albums.
Play cards or board games.
Make Frugal Gifts for the upcoming holidays.
Go for a long walk around town, take your own snacks and stop at a park to enjoy them.
Decorate your house for Fall, using only supplies you have on hand.
