Open Enrollment for Medicare Part D and Medicare Advantage Ends Earlier this Year
Make Any Changes by December 7
If you miss the December 7 deadline most likely you will have to wait until next year’s annual Open Enrollment period,October 15-December 7, 2012,to make changes your Medicare coverage.
National Council on Aging (NCOA) has several resource online available to help you find the plan the best meet your needs and budget.
My Medicare Matters (www.MyMedicareMatters.org) provides information to review your drug plan and other choices for 2012. It also offers information on two programs for low-income people to help them afford Medicare,the Medicare Savings Programs and the Medicare Part D Low-Income Subsidy (LIS)/Extra Help.
