This book is kid tested and mom approved.
A delightful tale of Sam, an eight year- old, who is battling bedtime and how he learned that sleep is important. After Sam learns to pretend he is floating on a cloud, rather than fighting sleep, he goes right to sleep. He learns to get ready for sleep by turning off all screens an hour before bedtime, having a healthy snack, brushing his teeth, dimming the lights, putting on his pajamas and reading a book. And if he wakes up during the night, he learns to, adjust his pillow, Snoozby, smile and go back to sleep.
Since he getting enough sleep, he can get up easier in the morning and do better at school. In fact, his teacher explains to him and his class that sleep is essential for adults and children to learn, to play, to be safe and do your very best. The book has an introduction for parents and teachers and games for kids that teach, Way to Sleep
Our 9-year-old book reviewer, Drew, says, I like the book because Sam learned to go to sleep so he could get up for school. Our four year old book reviewer, Anna, said, I like the bright colors in the pictures and the pillow, Snoozby.
The authors, Terry Cralle, RN, a Certified Sleep Educator, and W. David Brown, PHD, DABSM, CBSM, have taken sleep research and turned it into a fun and educational book for kids and their parents to share.
Are your kids getting enough sleep? Do they fight sleep? Snoozby and the Great Big Bedtime Battle is a great way to help your kids get the sleep they need.
